Land Rover is a car manufacturer headquartered in Gaydon, United Kingdom which specialises in four-wheel drive vehicles. It is owned by Tata Motors, forming part of its Jaguar Land Rover subsidiary. It is the second-oldest four-wheel drive car brand in the world (after Jeep).

Jaguar was founded as the Swallow Sidecar Company by Sir William Lyons in 1922

It is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Indian company Tata Motors Ltd. and is operated as part of the Jaguar Land Rover business.
